Hearing the Mighty Morton

program "A Christmas Carol"

Each year Thanksgiving weekend CAPA hosts a live theater performance of Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol". During intermission of the performances, Clark Wilson performs holiday tunes on the Mighty Morton organ. This is the best time to hear the organ played with a more classical sound.

Other Events

The theater is host to many events each year, most public, some private. Click here to see the entire list of CAPA events. Change the venue to Ohio Theatre to see what is going on only at that location. If you are invited to a private event and get to hear the organ consider yourself lucky!

Radio Broadcasts

N
ationally syndicated program "Pipedreams" aired a program promoting organs in Ohio in reference to the American Theater Organ Society and Organ Historical Society 2009 conventions in Cleveland. Click here for the program. The Mighty Morton leads off the program! You can also hear the organ in this 2016 "Pipedreams" program. Kudos to "Pipedreams" host Michael Barone!
